Mary Black in concert

on

Singer Mary Black, who has had to reschedule her current Irish tour due to illness, is back on the road and will be in Galway’s Town Hall Theatre this Saturday night, May 5.

Mary was hospitalised last month with shingles and she also had a throat and ear infection. As a result, she’s had to rearrange concerts in Killarney and Waterford, but her Galway date is unaffected.

Her Town Hall show will focus on material from Mary’s recent album of Jimmy MacCarthy songs as well as other material from her extensive repertoire.

Familiar MacCarthy songs such as No Frontiers, Katie, As I Leave Behind Néidín and Bright Blue Rose will be featured, alongside newer material from one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters.

Tickets €35 from tht.ie, 091-569777 and at the box office.
