MARCH DATE SET FOR TRIAL OF CITY MAN ACCUSED OF DRUG DEALING

A 33 year old city man has been sent forward for trial charged in connection with drug dealing.

Thomas Joseph Barrett of Corrib Park, Newcastle, is charged with having cocaine in his possession and with having it for sale or supply to others at his home on January 20th 2009.

A book of evidence has been served on Barrett in relation to the drugs charge.

He’s been sent forward for trial at Galway Circuit Criminal Court on March 9th.
