MANUELA RIEDO’S PARENTS ARRIVE IN GALWAY

The parents of murdered Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo have arrived in Galway.

Arlette and Hans Riedo were met in Dublin by members of the Galway Garda team who liaised with them at the time of her murder last October.

They travelled down to Galway today and are expected to stay in the city for a couple of days.

Manuela’s mother Arlette said at the time of the funeral that she planned to come to Galway at some stage to lay a single rose at the spot where her daughter died on the military path between Renmore and Ceannt station

27 year old Gerard Barry of 187 Rosan Glas, who’s charged with Manuela’s murder, is currently in custody
