MANS BODY RECOVERED AT MARINA IN BALLINASLOE

Gardaí in Ballinasloe have recovered the body of a man in his 60’s from the water.

The body was discovered in the River Suck near the marina this morning.

The man’s body has been taken to Portiuncula Hospital for a post mortem examination, but it’s understood Gardaí are not treating his death as suspicious.

It’s believed the man is a native of East Galway.
