MAN WHO DIED AT CITY GARAGE NAMED LOCALLY

The man who died after being crushed by a car in the city yesterday has been named locally as Pat Byrne from Stradbally in Co Laois.

The 48-year-old died from his injuries in the early hours of this morning.

Pat Byrne died in hospital after he was crushed by a car at Windsor Motors on the Old Monivea Road.

It’s understood he was picking up two cars on behalf of his brother.
