MAN WHO ATTACKED WOMAN IN HER HEADFORD HOME STILL AT LARGE

The man who attacked a woman in her own home in Headford this lunchtime is still at large this teatime

The incident happened at a house in Mausrevagh which is close to St.Cuana’s national school at around quarter to one.

The woman went to the basement of her home where a man grabbed her hair and hit her head off the wall before fleeing the scene.

The man is described as five feet 9 inches tall, of thin build, and was wearing a navy or black hoodie that covered his head.

The woman is severely traumatised but her injuries are not serious.

Garda Peader Brick from Headford Garda station says they are treating the incident as an aggravated burglary.
