MAN STILL QUIZZED OVER MISSING GLENAMADDY RESIDENT

Gardai in Tuam are continuing to question a foreign national in his 30s in relation to the disappearance of a missing Glenamaddy resident.
The man had his period of detention extended for a further 24 hours last night by Judge Geoffrey Browne at a special sitting of Tuam District Court held in Galway.
The man must be released or charged by 11 o’clock tonight.
A woman also being questioned since Wednesday night was released without charge at 10 o’clock last night.
Gardai are extremely concerned about Latvian national, Juris Buls who was last seen at his home on Ballymore Road, Glenamaddy late Thursday night July 7th.
His black Audi A4 is also missing.
A senior Garda source in Tuam has confirmed this lunchtime that house to house inquiries are continuing, as well as wide scale searches of lands in the area.
Gardai are also keeping the missing man’s family in Latvia updated regularly on their progress in the investigation.
