MAN RECOVERING AFTER BALLINASLOE NIGHTCLUB ASSAULT

A man is recovering in hospital after being assaulted in a Ballinasloe nightclub in the early hours of yesterday.

The victim was in Planet Nightclub when he was attacked at 12.15a.m.

The man was taken to Portiuncula Hospital where he’s being treated for a head injury.

Gardai say no weapon was involved and are following a lead in the case.
