Man killed in Connemara collision named locally
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Galway to Carraroe road at Tully will re-open shortly (10.30) following a collision in which a man died last evening.

65 year old Martin Breathnach from Tearmann Eanna, Inverin was struck by a car while trying to cross the road close to Tully church, shortly after 6p.m yesterday.
It’s understood Martin Breathnach had been in the church in Tully immediately prior to the collision.
The driver of the car, who was the sole occupant, was not injured.
The R336 road was closed overnight and Gardaí completed a forensic examination of the scene this morning.
