MAN KILLED IN BALLINDEREEN FARMING ACCIDENT NAMED

The man killed in a farming accident in Ballinderreen yesterday morning has been named as Vincent Lynch.

The 61 year-old is believed to have been killed instantly after he got caught under a tractor on his farm in Ballinderreen.

Gort gardai technically examined the site and will be carrying out a full investigation into the incident.

However, Gardai confirmed yesterday that they are treating the man’s death as a tragic accident

The Health and Safety authority has been notified of Vincent Lynch’s death and inspectors are expected to attend the scene in Ballindereen today
