Man in court following alleged armed robbery in Furbo

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man is to appear at Galway District Court this morning following an alleged armed robbery in Furbo yesterday evening.
The man is alleged to have entered the Top service station in Furbo wearing a balaclava, armed with a carving knife at around 6.15pm.
The man fled the scene but was later arrested in Salthill after Gardai spotted a car matching the description of the vehicle thought to be used.
