MAN HOSPITALISED AFTER BALLINASLOE CRASH

A man has been hospitalised after a crash on the N6 outside Ballinasloe in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Portiuncula hospital where he’s currently being treated for his injuries.

The collision between a truck and a tractor and trailer occurred shortly before 5am at Ballydangan.

Gardai are carrying out a technical examination at the scene and one lane of the main Galway Dublin road is remains closed.
