MAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS IN CITY DIES IN HOSPITAL

A 41 year old man found collapsed in the city last night has died of his injuries.

The man died this afternoon at University Hospital Galway.

The man was found unconscious at the back of the Fairgreen hostel close to the railway station around midnight.

Gardai are treating it as a sudden death and while they don’t have anything to indicate it might be suspicious, they’re preserving the scene where he was found until the results of the post mortem are known.
