Man due in court following drugs haul in Kilconly

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man is due in court later today (6/6) following a substantial drugs haul in Kilconly, North Galway.
The young man is due to appear before Castlerea District Court.
Gardai from Tuam seized drugs with an estimated value of over €27,000 at a house in Beaugh, Kilconly yesterday.
A man, in his early 20s, was arrested and detained at Tuam Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
Cannabis plants worth an estimated €17,000 and Cannabis Herb with an estimated value of over €10,000 were seized in the Garda swoop on the house near Kilconly.
The young man arrested was detained at Tuam Garda Station and will appear before Castlerea District Court this morning.
