Man dies in N17 crash
A man has died in a single vehicle crash on the N17.
The single vehicle crash happened at around 2:30 am on the Galway to Tuam road close to Knockdoe.
Two units of Tuam Fire Services and Gardaí attended the scene.
Gardaí are now carrying out a forensic examination of the scene and a section of the road has been closed.
Diversions are in place southbound at Curundrum national school, and northbound by turning right onto the Roscommon road.
