Man dies following incident in city centre bar

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardai are investigating an incident in a bar in the city after a which a man died in University Hospital Galway.
The man, a 60-year-old city native, suffered a suspected cardiac arrest following an alleged assault in Crowe’s Bar on Bohermore.
He was taken to UHG where he died this morning.
A 52 year old man, also from the city, has presented himself at Mill Street Garda station and is being detained.
The State Pathologist is due to carry out a post-mortem on the deceased later today.
Gardaí are investigating.
