MAN DENIES RAPING HIS DAUGHTER IN GALWAY

The jury in the Central Criminal Court trial of a former top-flight professional footballer accused of raping his daughter will retire today to consider a verdict.

The 68 year-old man denies committing more than 80 acts of rape and sexual assault on his 16 year-old daughter in Galway and Roscommon.
