MAN DEAD IN WILLIAMSTOWN COLLISION

A 22 year old man has died following a collision on the R360 between Dunmore and Williamstown.(16/01)

The collision happened near Curragh West just before midnight.

It’s understood the man was from the Galway area, and the incident has now been referred to the Garda ombudsman commission.

Gardaí are at the scene, and traffic is being diverted to allow a technical examination of the scene to be carried out.
