Man critical and second man injured after Inis Mór altercation
Galway bay fm newsroom – A man in his 40s is in a critical condition in hospital following an altercation on the Aran Island of Inis Mór.
He was one of two men airlifted to University Hospital Galway by the Coast guard helicopter at about quarter past one.
Gardaí say the second man, aged in his 60s, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
It’s understood at least one of the men is being treated for stab wounds.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
