MAN CHARGED OVER ASSAULT ON CITY PUB OWNER

A city man has been charged in connection with an assault on the owner of Rabbitt’s pub in the city last night.

The 20 year old was charged with a Section 3 assault contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the State Act.

He’s been released on bail and will appear before Galway District Court on Monday.
