MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING SALTHILL ATTEMPTED ROBBERIES

A man in his lates teens is due to appear in court today in connection with a spate of recent attempted robberies in the Salthill area.

The man, with a city address, was arrested by Gardai at yesterday afternoon in the Dr Mannix Road area under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He is charged with the attempted robbery of two women in the Lower Salthill and Devon Gardens area last Saturday evening
