MAN AND WOMAN REMANDED IN CUSTODY OVER GORT COCAINE SEIZURE

A 39 year old man and a 24 year old woman, both from Limerick but with Galway addresses have been remanded in custody charged with the possession of cocaine with a value of half a million euro.

The two were arrested at Glenbrack, Gort on Tuesday where Gardaí say they were caught "red-handed" with around 6 kilos of cocaine.

24 year old Susan Ryan and 39 year old Alan Graham, both with addresses at Tara Cottage, Collinamuck, Roscahill appeared before Galway District court this afternoon.

Both will appear before Galway district court again next Wednesday the 10th of November.
