Major summer auction next month

More than 50 properties will go up for auction when next month through O’Donnellan & Joyce, with Anne Harding of the auctioneering firm saying there will be a mix of homes and investment properties on offer.

The majority of properties that will feature are based in the city, but there are a number outside the city boundary, including Loughrea, Shrule, Furbo, and Moycullen/Barna.

There is a detached 4/5 bedroom house at Lake Road in Loughrea with an AMV of €295,000; while Lisdonagh Cottage at Largan in Shrule is available with an AMV of €65,000. There is a detached 4-bed bungalow immediately adjacent to Furbo Beach at Ballynahown, which comes with detached garage which has an AMV of €250,000; while there is a 3-bed detached cottage in Tooreeney, Barna-Moycullen, with an AMV of €330,000.

In the city, there is a two-storey semi-detached residence with an AMV of €375,000 at Grattan Road in Claddagh; a mid-terrace house at Walsh’s Terrace in Woodquay with an AMV of €400,000; and a 3-bed townhouse at Dun Aengus which has an AMV of €250,000.

There is also a 2-bed townhouse at The Stables on College Road with an AMV of €135,000; while there is a 3-bed terraced house on Henry Street that has an AMV of €220,000.

On the Newcastle side of the city, there is a detached house on the Upper Newcastle Road which has an AMV of €350,000; a detached 4-bed house in Snipe Lawn with an AMV of €350,000; and a 3-bed mid-terrace house on Costello Road in Shantalla which has an AMV of €230,000.

Staying in the city, there is a large detached 4-bed house in Glenina Heights which has an AMV of €215,000; and a mid-terrace house in McDermott in neighbouring Mervue with an AMV of €180,000.

There is a 2-bed ground floor apartment available with an AMV of €88,000 in Cuirt Na Rasai in Ballybrit; a 3-bed semi-detached residence in Tirellan Heights with an AMV of €200,000; and a recently refurbished large 3-bed semi-detached property on the Tuam Road which has an AMV of €185,000.
