MAJOR PLANS FOR MIXED HOUSING IN BALLINASLOE

A major mixed housing development is in the pipeline for Ballinasloe.

This week’s meeting of Ballinasloe town council heard that 7 of the 20 acres at ‘Murray’s field’ in Poolboy will be used for the provision of private, social, affordable and voluntary housing.

The council had previously denied that there were any plans for the field and have confirmed there are no plans, as yet, for the remaing 13 acres.
