MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS SET FOR COUNTY WATER SUPPLY

Galway’s water supply is set for huge improvements with the announcement of major funding from the Government.

More than 3.4 million euro has been allocated to County Council from the Department for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to upgrade water supplies in Galway.

The money will be provided from a special contingency fund set up by the Government, and Galway has received the biggest allocation in the country.
