MAJOR CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME FOR LOUGHREA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
A major programme of construction for St. Brigid’s Vocational School in Loughrea has been approved by the Department of Education.
Minister of State and Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon says the works will include a new engineering technology and metalwork room, a new science lab, a new home economics room and a new wood technology room.
The commitment of funds will provide over 4,000 square feet of new classroom space.
The tendering process for the development is expected to begin shortly with works set to get underway before the end of the year.
Minister Cannon says the project will allow both staff and students to continue their focus on the important subject areas of science and technology.
