MAJOR AIR AND SEA RESCUE OPERATION FOR MISSING GALWAY WOMAN TO STEP DOWN

A major air and sea rescue operation off the west coast for a missing Kinvara woman is expected to step down shortly.
Gardaí at the scene say that the coast search for missing 49 year old Bernadette Leech will begin again tommorow morning.
The operation which included three boats from Doolín Coast Guard, and a helicopter from Valentia Coast Guard have been searching the Hagues head area near the Cliffs of Mohar for Bernadette Leech for most of the day.
The 49 year old mother, who is described as 5 foot 5 inches in height, of light build with curly brown hair has been missing from her home in Kinvara since Thursday.
When last seen she was driving a silver Suzuki Vitara jeep, which was recovered near the GAA pitch in Liscannor, about two miles from the Cliffs of Mohar yesterday afternoon.
