Mairead McGuiness retains seat in Europe

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Fine Gael’s Mairead McGuinness has retained her seat in Europe.
She was elected following the 5th count today.
She now joins Independent Luke Ming Flanagan in Europe.
There are still two seats to fill in the constituency of Midlands Northwest.
Sinn Fein’s Matt Carthy is expected to be elected tonight and Independent Marian Harkin says she’ll be battling Pat the Cope Gallagher for the last seat.
