MACNAS reaches funding target for Halloween street party

Galway Bay fm newsroom – MACNAS is to press ahead with its plans for a Halloween street parade in the city.

It’s after the renowned arts group reached its fundraising target of 10 thousand euro following a public appeal.

The event ‘On the night journey’ will feature 300 volunteer performers will now go ahead on Sunday October 27th.

MACNAS Artistic Director Noeline Kavanagh says the group reached the target one day ahead of schedule.
