LUTON ROUTE TOPS PASSENGER NUMBERS TO GALWAY AIRPORT

The highest number of international passengers arriving at Galway Airport last year came from London.

44 thousand passengers arrived here from Luton Airport in London in 2008, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office.

Luton was followed by Manchester, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Newcastle.
