Lunchtime concert of family classics

The Galway Music Residency presents a very special Family Lunchtime with guests The WhistleBlast Quartet in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church on Tuesday next, August 2, at 1.10pm.

During this one-hour concert, the WhistleBlast Quartet, a talented team of performers and teachers living in Ireland, will take the audience on a musical journey meeting exciting characters along the way – including Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty and Ian Fleming’s James Bond!

This interactive performance is an imaginative introduction to live performance and to various musical instruments, suitable for all the family.
