Loughrea’s business and investment capacity boosted by new broadband

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new high-speed fibre broadband network for Loughrea businesses will aid their expansion into national and international markets.
That’s according to Minister of State and Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon, following the annoucement of upgraded broadband infrastructure for Loughrea, Kilkenny and Ardee.
e-net, which runs Ireland’s fibre optic infrastructure, is investing 2.5 million euro to develop broadband in the three areas.
It means all businesses in the three locations will have access to superfast fibre broadband.
Minister Cannon says the individual fibre connections will improve the town’s capacity for business and investment.
