LOUGHREA HOUSE DAMAGED AFTER FIRE

A home in the Loughrea area has been extensively damaged following a fire in the early hours of this morning. (24/01)

The fire broke out at a house in the Danesfort Court estate in the town at around 3am.

Two units of Loughrea fire services attended the scene, and managed to get the blaze under control by 5am.

It’s understood no one was seriously injured in the fire which is thought to have broken out in the downstairs part of the house.
