LOUGHREA GARDAI ISSUE WARNING ON ILLEGAL FIREWORKS

Loughrea Gardaí have issued a warning to young people on the use of illegal bangers and fireworks.

It follows a number of complaints from locals about school children letting off bangers in potentially dangerous situations.

Loughrea Gardaí say people are buying the fireworks from illegal traders and in most cases have no way of ensuring the safety of such products.
