LOUGHREA COUNCIL AGREES RATE FOR 2009

Loughrea Town Council last night struck a rate for the coming year of 3 euro 15 cent, one of the lowest in the country.

The new rate represents an increase of 4 and a half percent on last year’s figure and was adopted on the proposal of Councillor Norman Morgan.
