LOUGHREA BURGLARIES TREBLE IN LAST QUARTER

Burglaries in the Loughrea area over the past three months have more than trebled.

In September, October, and November there were 25 burglaries compared to 7 in the corresponding period last year.

Members of the the town’s Joint Policing Committe were informed of the increasing trend at a meeting last night (Dec 10).
