LORRY DRIVER’S TUAM ROAD PROTEST HALTED BY THE HIGH COURT

An East Galway haulage contractor has been restrained by the High Court from continuing blockages today at two Roadstone plants in Galway.

The Irish Times is reporting that counsel for Roadstone Wood Ltd Roddy Horan told Mr Justice Sean Ryan the unlawful obstructions had been placed by haulier John Kenny yesterday in a row over haulage rates.
