LOCALS WANT EAST GALWAY ACCIDENT BLACK SPOT MADE SAFE

A road in East Galway, which has been described as a ‘notorious accident blackspot’, will be discussed in the Seanad next week.

Labour Senator, Lorraine Higgins, says the Kilreekil – Mullagh road has been the scene of a number of fatal crashes and needs to be upgraded.

Over 300 local people have signed a petition to support Senator Higgins’ campaign to have the road repaired.
