Properties across Galway with price reserves totalling more than €2.75 million are set to go under the hammer as part of a nationwide auction next month.

The properties include 20 residential lots in the city and county, as well as two industrial units in the Ballybrit Industrial Estate, which are currently let to tenants.

The Allsop auction in the RDS on Wednesday, July 8, includes more than 230 properties across the country – around one-fifth of which are in Dublin – with a total reserve value of €27m.

Head of Residential, Jonathan Fenn said: “At our April residential auction, multi-residential properties, including housing and apartment blocks performed very well. The July catalogue will provide further opportunity for investors to purchase.

“We also have a great selection of houses and apartments for sale which range from detached houses with stables, family homes to city apartments. We are delighted that our offering in July will provide for both investors and owner occupiers,” said Mr Fenn.

Included in the catalogue are six potential investment properties on the Headford Road in the Galway City.

Also set to go under the hammer in the city is a detached three-bed bungalow in Laurel Park, Newcastle (882 sq ft), subject to a one-year tenancy until next March for €10,500. The reserve is €150,000.

Other properties in Galway city included houses in St Brendan’s Avenue, St Joseph’s Avenue, St Bridget’s Terrace, College Road, Ballybrit, Doughiska and Knocknacarra.

In the county there are properties in Portumna, Tuam, Carraroe, Gort and Clifden.
