LOCAL GROUPS URGED TO APPLY FOR ENVIROMENTAL FUNDING

A Galway Senator is calling on local community groups to apply for funding designed to promote environmental awareness.

A total of €630,000has been made available under this year’s Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund.

Green Party Senator Niall O’Brolchain says Galway city has benefited from the fund before and is urging groups to apply.
