LIFE OF ARDRAHAN MURDER VICTIM COMMEMORATED AT FUNERAL SERVICE

Finbar Fahy is being commerated today for the way he lived his life before his tragic death.

The 78 year old retired farmer has been laid to rest beside his wife Cissie at Labane cemetery.

Hundreds gathered at St. Teresa’s Church today to pay their final respects to the man who was murdered at his home in Tullira less than a week ago.

Finbars three sons Gerard, Aidan and Noel were joined by Finbars brother Finnian and his sister Ida at the service.

His 22 year old grandson, Gearóid Fahy of Carrownamona Ardrahan has been charged with his murder and is due before Shannon district court on Thursday.
