LIDL WITHDRAW PLANNING APPLICATION FOR CLIFDEN STORE

The discount stores company, LIDL, has withdrawn its planning application for an outlet in Clifden in Connemara.

The decision to withdraw the application was taken shortly before Galway County Council’s planning section was to make a decision.

A fortnight ago discount chain ALDI also withdrew its planning application for a store in Clifden.
