LETTERMORE GARDA PROTESTS OVER WORK CONDITIONS

A Garda is pulling out of Lettermore Garda station in Connemara tomorrow in protest at his work conditions.

Garda Sean O’Curraoin has been stationed for the past 8 years in a 25 year-old wooden hut.

Senior Garda management have agreed to allow him operate out of Rosmuc Garda station from tomorrow until alternative accommodation is found in Lettermore.
