Less than half of vacant social houses in the city are on offer to tenants.

65 homes are on the ‘vacant property’ list, with just 20 on offer.

The number of houses available compares starkly with the 4 thousand people on the social housing waiting list in the city.

The figures were revealed at this week’s meeting of the city council during discussion on national social housing legislation.
