LEGAL AVENUE EXPLORED OVER TUAM DERELICT IMAGE

Tuam is getting a derelict image due to dilapidated houses on the Galway Road according, to a retired businessman.

Photos of the scenes of dereliction were presented to Tuam Town Council members at their meeting this week.

Director of Services Frank Gilmore said he would take the matter up with the Environment Section of Galway County Council to see if there was a legal avenue that could be pursued in this matter.
