Leading World Health Organisation members to address NUIG conference
Representatives from the European Regional Office of the World Health Organisation will visit NUI Galway tomorrow as part of a two day event on Health Promotion.
Experts from international health organisations will address a public conference at the university on Wednesday to outline the ‘Health 20-20’ policy, following tomorrow’s closed meeting.
The 20-20 policy highlights the health inequities between countries in a bid to encourage the formation of working partnerships.
Dr Michal Molcho from NUIG’s Health Promotion Research Centre told Galway Bsy fm news that the speakers will address a range of topics.
