Leading artists donate their work for MADRA fundraising auction

Leading Galway and national artists such as Dorothy Cross, Imelda Healy, Joe Boske, Manus Walsh and Mark O’Neill feature in the 2017 MADRA Dog Rescue Charity Art Auction which will take place on Saturday, December 9, in The PorterShed, Eyre Square.

More than 40 works of art will go under the hammer from 4pm, to raise vital funds for MADRA, the Connemara-based dog rescue and rehoming service. This volunteer-led service rescued and rehomed 834 dogs in 2016.

The auction will be hosted by leading Galway auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan, and the online catalogue will be available at madra.ie and facebook.com/madradogrescue from this Friday, while public viewing of many of the artworks will commence on Monday, December 4, in The PorterShed which is located just behind the Meyrick Hotel,.
