LEADERS IN TOURISM GATHER IN GALWAY TODAY

A major roadshow on tourism in Galway gets underway in the city this morning.

The roadshow, organised by Fáilte Ireland will discuss the tourism industry around Galway, and also tourism abroad, with representatives of Tourism Ireland.

The agency, which deals with promoting Ireland abroad, has set an ambitious target of 3 per cent growth in visitor numbers this year.

The event will get underway at 10.30am at the Ardilaun Hotel in Taylors Hill.
