Latest version offers more style and space, retaining its place in popularity stakes
Some cars outshine others simply because they are so popular. In terms of sales over many incarnations, the Ford Focus is still up there as one of the ones to beat.
At times, when a model is coming to the end of its natural life cycle, there can be a drop off in sales, but not the Focus. It has been just as strong over the last year and that suggests that the new model launched this week will fly from the forecourts.
This latest version of the Ford Focus has arrived in Ireland and delivers more style, space and advanced driving technologies for mid-size family car customers than ever before.
The Focus comes in five-door hatchback and even more practical Focus wagon versions, each with their own personality – including the stylish Focus Titanium, sporty Focus ST-Line and upscale Focus Vignale. A Focus Active crossover model will appear in early 2019, features rugged sports utility styling, raised ride-height, roof bars and additional cladding.
Described as athletic with a long bonnet and muscular rear haunches, each model is differentiated with unique elements including satin aluminium details for the Vignale exterior; large spoiler and open front apertures for the ST-Line; and contrast silver front and rear skid plates for the Active.
