Galway Bay fm newsroom – Large numbers are expected to take to the streets tomorrow for the annual Galway Pride parade which takes place in the city.

The event first took place in 1989, and a total of fifteen people took part.

The Galway Pride Festival began earlier in the week, and included an art exhibition, Rocky Horror Sing-along night and the Mr Gay Galway Final.

This year’s parade will begin at Eyre Square at 2.30 tomorrow afternoon and Galway pride chairperson Marcus Wynne says it will be a great family event.
